Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs iPhone Announcement Expected Today

Apple lovers and developers await the announcement of the next version iPhone expected by Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs today at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference. The anticipated announcement should confirm a number of things, including whether the iPhone will feature 3G wireless technology, to provide faster Internet access, and what upgrades will be included for download amongst the rumored new business applications and social networking programs developed. What’s more, is the new iPhone is expected to be sold at a fraction of the cost, down $50 to $100 from the first version, and so whether the price will be subsidized, may also be revealed. What happens today, may determine if Apple will reach its goal to ship 10 million iPhones by 2008.
