Zoho Docs Makes Documents, Spreadsheets and Presentations Available In Single Hosted Application

AdventNet owned start-up Zoho lets users create, share and access its suite of online web applications and yesterday announced an update to its service. The newly released Zoho Docs application enables users to access text documents, spreadsheets and presentations created in Zoho Writer, Sheet and Show, through a single centralized application, with the ability to easily view any document in a tab within the application via view mode as well as upload any file format. Zoho, which offers most of its products for free, offers more products than its closest competitor Google and now Zoho, like Google, lets users share documents in a group setting, while the Zoho chat function makes corresponding with group participants possible. Zoho also competes with Microsoft Office Live Workspace, which recently announced it had acquired its one millionth user since its public beta launch last March.
