When I posted in the Pubcon Facebook group asking for recommendations on affordable, reliable social media scheduling tools, the thread quickly turned into a crowdsourced review of what is working for digital marketers today. From the sky-high pricing of legacy tools like Hootsuite and Loomly, to praise for leaner options like Publer, Metricool, and Zoho Social, it was clear that SEOs, consultants, and solo operators are hungry for tools that don’t treat basic scheduling like an enterprise level corporate luxury.
So I began digging through more than three dozen options. Below are the top tier I found. It is a breakdown of options with platform support and pricing.
Note that Prices are listed at lowest tier available tier. Once you get past the top tier it really becomes a mis-mash of options and pricing – so I stuck to the entry level offerings.
