The classic Bye Bye Google Chrome extension was updated recently and is now working again.
This extension lets users filter unwanted elements from Google’s search results, including AI Overviews, Ads, Discussions, and Videos. It effectively lets you Turn Off Ai Mode on Google.
AI Overviews remain hidden by default, but users can now toggle specific sections—such as shopping blocks, “people also ask,” and sponsored listings—directly in the options menu.
If Google modifies its CSS again, a future update will keep the plugin aligned with those changes.
